Hi to all! We have started this blog to keep family and friends up to date on our adoption process. This is a decision we have made recently that God laid on our hearts almost two years ago. It's a decision that we have not come to lightly, but really, how could we not answer this calling? I know to some it may seem crazy since we already have three children. We get "the look" at times from people who must be thinking this. But we absolutely LOVE being parents and feel that this is our gift and what better way than to share this gift with one of God's own who needs a family? I read the following from another couple in the process of adopting from China as well and it really says it all...
"Will it be costly? Yes. But it will mean a little girl will have a home, she will be sought after and given a name and a future. Her future will include learning about the one that was willing to give up everything to adopt her and that’s more important than what we will sacrifice."

What Now? By Steven Curtis Chapman

I saw the face of Jesus in a little orphan girl. She was standing in the corner on the other side of the world. And I heard the voice of Jesus gently whisper to my heart, "Didn’t you say you wanted to find me? Well, here I am, here you are-
So, What now? What will you do now that you found Me? What now? What will you do with this treasure you’ve found? I know I may not look like what you expected, But if you’ll remember, this is right where I said I would be. You’ve found me. What now?"
